Common Siding Replacement Questions
After 20 years of residential construction experience, our general contractors have heard nearly every siding-related question imaginable.
While our team will always take the time to answer all of your renovation questions, here are a few we get asked frequently.
How Long Does Siding Replacement Take?
That depends on the size of your home and if our team is replacing all the siding on your house. A typical whole-home siding replacement takes between 5 - 7 days to complete. If we are replacing siding on only a portion of your house, it can take less time.
Can Siding Be Repaired Instead of Replaced?
While there are times when siding can be repaired, it depends on the severity of the damage and how much there is. In most cases replacing the siding is more effective at maintaining the integrity of your exteriors and looks smoother along your house than repairs.
Replacing your siding with our Experts also allows us to verify that no interior or substructure damage is present.
What If There’s a Problem With the Substructure?
If our Experts find any damage under your siding, we will contact you immediately and devise a repair solution that meets your goals and complies with all city building codes and regulations.
This may change the siding replacement cost and the original completion date, but our team will do everything in our power to promptly fix the problem and make your home safer.
