Trusted Inspections

Our roofing contractors will always be transparent in our inspections. Our goal is to help you evaluate what your roof and home truly need in terms of repairs, and we will never sell you a new roof if you don’t need one.

During our comprehensive inspections, our team will fill out an inspection report and take photographs of the damage to help you with insurance claims.

We thoroughly inspect for exterior and interior problems, like:

  • Missing shingles and shingle wear and tear
  • Damaged or missing flashing
  • Sagging around ridges
  • Cracks in or along the chimney
  • Splits or cracks in siding above and below the roofline
  • Rotting or damage on the fascia board
  • Condition of gutters, eaves, and downspouts and proper shingle overhang
  • Cracks on roof sheathing
  • Proper attic ventilation and intake vents
  • Leaks around vents, bathroom/kitchen exhaust fans, and other holes to the outside
  • Signs of condensation, wet insulation, and mold
  • And so much more!

Our comprehensive inspections cover more than just your roof, too. Our team checks over all the siding of your home and inspects your windows for hard-to-spot damage around your frames.

Clean Work Sites

While working on your roof, it can get messy. Debris, dust, and small particles do fly off roofs occasionally. Our Experts do our best to prevent and consolidate messes by cleaning as we go and performing a final clean-up at the end of each day.

In addition to our own clean practices, our crews also use the Catch-All system and tarps to prevent debris from falling into your lawn or other areas of your property.

Instant Communication

Some of the hardest parts about any roofing or remodeling project are keeping track of the paperwork, signing all the approval forms, and remembering when contractors and crews are coming to work on your home.

Our Experts make 24/7 communication a priority by using the Buildertrend app. Through the app, you can ask questions and receive our feedback, track progress, view updates and changes, and keep track of documents all in one convenient place.

You’ll always know what’s happening and when for your specific project!

What to Expect With Your Roofing Project

Our team devotes our time and resources completely to your project. We work with you through every phase of the construction process and keep you in the loop as anything changes.

Roof repairs and replacements usually take only one or two days to complete once construction starts, and our team ensures the pre-construction planning makes for efficient, quality work.

Before Construction Begins

Before the construction starts, our general contractors will confirm your material selections, the scope of the work, the installation schedule (assuming the weather cooperates and all materials are in stock), and discuss the dumpster placement and material dropoff location on your property.

On the day of the dumpster and materials dropoff, please ensure all vehicles and personal items are clear from the work zone.

During Construction

Our crew will promptly arrive between 7 - 8:30 a.m., post a permit on your door, begin demo preparations, and remove existing roofing materials.

Roof installations are noisy. You can expect to hear loud scrapping, banging, and air hose or leaf blower noise throughout the day. If you work from home, have small children or pets, or simply don’t want to be present with disruptive noises coming from above, you may want to consider leaving while work is in progress.

Our team will use the Catch-All system and dumpsters to clean as we go, and we will do a final clean-up at the end of each day. However, watch for falling debris, dust, cords, moving vehicles, etc., for your safety as we work.

Any wood substructure materials that are compromised by rot, like roof decking or wall sheathing, will be addressed with you immediately, and our team will help develop a plan that safely remedies additional problem areas.

All products and materials will be installed in compliance with local building codes and manufacturer specifications.

Clean-Up & Post-Construction Inspections

Once your roof repair or replacement is complete, the team will complete a detailed Expert Level inspection, clean-up, and material return. Our contractors will contact the permitting city or county to schedule a final inspection. Please leave the permit posted on your front door until our team lets you know the report permit is closed.

If a dumpster was used for your project, our team will arrange with the dumpster company to pick it up.

It is common for recessed lighting fixtures to become loose during a roof replacement due to vibrations from shingle removal and installation. If this occurs, please inform an Expert Level team member so that we can move the fixtures back into place.
